Stay at the Hotel Palazzo Giovanelli with it’s mix of traditional opulence and modern ameneties, right on the Grand Canal. We will begin our day with a cruise down the Grand Canal to visit the city’s former Jewish Ghetto. experience some of the most famous and some of the old oldest bridges in the world from the canals. Afterwards set out on a walking tour of the narrow streets around St. Mark’s Square and the Grand Canal. Neighbourhood by neighbourhood we’ll unravel the rich layers of architecture Venice has to offer. Visit the lavish Doge’s Palace, the seat of government here for centuries and the former residence of the rulers of the Venetian Republic. Take a moment to marvel at the lavish frescoes, graceful staircases and gilded stucco work that reveal the glory and opulence of earlier times. 

After a rest, we can enjoy dinner together and drink in the atmosphere of Venice by night. On this magical weekend you will also have free time for exploring, shopping and of course for taking a gondola ride.
